As for Three Days Grace I am very familiar with their tunes. They are a radio friendly band. I'm sure you have all heard one of their tunes. I was looking forward to see what kind of show they would put on especially since their the last band to play before Avenged Sevenfold.
The stage set up looked cool with the backdrop to the stage the front of their latest release "Life Starts Now". The band got underway and were rocking. I was think to myself....these guys are playing Reno NV in a few days I'm gonna definitely check them out in the town I live in.
Adam Gontier, the frontman, was working the crowd from the get go inciting the crowd to get mosh pits going. A few got started but didn't last long. Finally to get the crowd moshing he told a story of how they were asked to not play "Riot". Of course the moral to his story was no one tells them what to play and they can fuck off. This in turn got a very large pit going during the song.
I was very impressed with Barry Stock's guitar playing. I love his double neck guitar he came out with.
Brad Waist (b) and Barry Stock (d) round out the band and they both performed well.
Overall Three Days Grace put on a great rock show.
3.5 out of 5 stars
