Seether for me was the big disappointment of the day. Now don't get me wrong. The bands playing was flawless. Singer Shaun Morgan sounded just like the albums. I love these guys songs all of which sounded great this night.
But for me the band as a trio on stage just didn't have the excitement um.... how to explain this....not enough interaction with the crowd is what I guess I'm trying to say.
Shaun Morgan's guitar playing was fantastic and he really got into a few of his solos but other than that he was at the mic singing.
Bassist Dale Stewart strolled around the stage while drummer John Humphrey pounded the drums but something for me was missing.
Seether has a great catalog of tunes and I don't want to take away from that nor do I want to take away from how good they sounded but again for me I wasn't taken back by their performance.
